Fred began with the underground movement Fraktal in Toulouse (94-97), organising various parties in the South West of France. He then created Anticore, following the release of the Fractal 01 12". 4 prodcutions then went on until 98, mainly with French artists because he thinks that the French hardcore scene is probably the most innovative one (XMF, Laurent Ho, Manu Le Malin, Explore Toi..)
His tracks are definitely orientated towards an industrial sound.

In the meantime, he began spinning in parties but more and more the live set as MANIAKS became overhelming. From a "Teknival" sound, he then moved on to Acidcore et le Hardcore.
Since 1998, he creates new sub-labels of d'Anticore: Vibrion, (sister label, since it is dedicated to the same kind of sounds with artists such as Choose (Drop Bass), Somatic Responses or Laura Grabb (IST)) and Ideal Chimik (created with the distributor Kubik, where local artists are favoured).
Fred est has also created a tape Label : Vibtape.

They recently released tracks on 2 labels: World Alchimist Records and Suburban Trash, German label from Dresden.
Since then, Maniak has also produced tracks for PKG, UW, trackless and Beast ...
